The Materials We Install

Wallpaper is not one material. It is a dozen, and each one asks a different wall, a different paste, and a different hand. This is the roster, and what each demands.

Twelve categories, one standard

Each material, on its own page

What it is, where it performs, what it demands from the wall and the crew, and the questions people ask about it.

How the roster is used

Why the category decides the method

What changes with the material

  • The primer and the paste, matched to the backing
  • The seam method: butted, double-cut, or overlapped
  • The substrate finish, up to Level 5 for silk and metallic
  • The handling: gloves, rest time, acclimation
  • The order rule: by the roll, the yard, the panel set
  • The rooms it belongs in, and the ones it does not

What never changes

  • The measurement: James, in person, to the rules the material demands
  • The quantities: derived and shown, never estimated
  • Installation-only: the material is yours or your designer's
  • The crew: four crews, twelve trained installers
  • The insurance: fully insured and bonded, every project
  • The standard: measured in what you do not see

Why Mancini

The standard every material demands

01

Precision Craft

Pattern alignment, seam work, and the kind of craftsmanship you only notice when you look closely.

Every panel aligned. Every seam placed. Every surface prepared before the first strip goes up. The standard is measured in what you do not see.

02

Specification Discipline

Installed to the instructions each manufacturer publishes.

Every house writes an installation specification for its material. We read it before the order and follow it at the wall: the primer, the paste, the seam method, the rest time. No shortcuts, no substitutions.

03

Responsive Capacity

Four active crews. Twelve trained installers. Scheduling measured in weeks.

Multi-crew capacity means a project moves on your timeline. Most projects are on the calendar within weeks, not months.

A Park City design studio we work with regularly has specified us on four consecutive projects, including a nine-space whole-home installation on the Deer Valley–Heber corridor, completed in two weeks with no callback.

Questions

Materials questions, answered

Every premium category: grasscloth and natural fibre, silk, hand-painted and hand-printed, murals and panoramics, metallic and foil, woven textile, felt and acoustic, specialty surfaces such as cork and veneer, vinyl, textured and paintable, heritage and vintage. Each has its own page above.

No. Mancini is installation-only. Material comes through your designer's trade account, a showroom, or your own order, and we install what arrives. Designers keep their procurement chain and their markup.

Send a photo of the sample and the room. Backing, face, and weight tell us the category, and the category decides the method. If you have the product page, send that too; the manufacturer's instructions are read before anything is ordered.

It changes the method, the preparation, and the time at the wall, and the written proposal reflects that. Every project is priced after James measures it in person; nothing is quoted from a photograph.

Where the scope includes it, yes: removal, skim coat, sanding, priming to the manufacturer's specification, up to a Level 5 finish where silk, metallic, or hand-painted material follows. On most projects the substrate arrives primed by the painter and we confirm it before the install.

No. The houses named on this site identify materials we install and completed project history. We hold no partnership, certification, or endorsement from any of them. Every product is installed to the instructions its manufacturer publishes.

Park City and Deer Valley, the Heber Valley including Heber City and Midway, Alpine and Highland, and the Salt Lake Valley, from our Park City headquarters. Further afield across the Mountain West by arrangement.

With a complimentary on-site measurement. James walks the space, measures it himself, and a written proposal follows with the quantities derived and shown. Send the property address and a photo of the room to begin.

Not sure which category your material is?
